In connection with research on the geochemistry and microbial ecology in the Benguela Current Upwelling system, we are also offering research motivated training opportunities for advanced students and young investigators. The capacity building courses entail practical experience at sea as well as lectures and experimental work at the laboratories of the Sam Nujoma Campus and Marine Research Center of the University of Namibia in Henties Bay.
