Congratulations to Steve Haddock and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, who won the vote to host the 15th Deep Sea Biology Symposium.
The winner was announced at the closing session of the 14th Deep Sea Biology Symposium, held in Aveiro, Portugal.
MBARI just edged out a strong bid from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Many thanks to the more than 200 of you who voted. I look forward to seeing many of you in beautiful Monterey in 2018.
