Dear Deep Sea Biology Community,
There are two proposals to host the next Deep Sea Biology Symposium (in 2018).
This year, we (the Deep Sea Biology Society) felt it would be good to put the choice of venue to the next symposium to the wider community, including those who could not make it to the symposium.
There are proposals from Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), California, USA and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, China.

Voting closes at midday (Portuguese time) on Friday 4th September. And results will be announced here.
