Opportunities: Researcher in Ocean Management
Applications are invited for a researcher in ocean management. This position will take a leading role in the Natural Environment Research Council contribution to the EU FP7 project ‘MIDAS’ (Managing Impacts of Deep-seA reSource exploitation). The aim of this post is to capture best environmental practices for exploitation of deep-sea mineral resources. This will require working with scientists and environmental managers from across the MIDAS group (36 partners across Europe), the mining industry and beyond to determine, document, evaluate and integrate best environmental practice.
