Dear Colleagues,
Impending deadline of 20th February for European Marine Board deep-sea research investment study:
Have you seen a change in your funding for deep-sea research over the past 5 years? If so, the European Marine Board would like to hear from you!EMB are conducting a survey of European deep-sea stakeholders to analyse investment in deep-sea research and related activities. The survey should take only 10 minutes and can be completed online or as a word document.
We really value your input to take stock of the current status and help shape a future deep-sea research agenda for Europe! Individual responses will be kept confidential and only summary information will be published. The resulting EMB Position Paper will be launched at the International Deep-Sea Biology Symposium 2015 on 1 September in Aveiro, Portugal.
Scientific recommendations will also be communicated to European and National policy makers and funding agencies.
We kindly ask that you submit your response by 20 February 2015 to Kate Larkin (email: klarkin@esf.org).
