We would like to invite contributions to a special issue on the biodiversity of the Clarion Clipperton Fracture Zone to be published in Marine Biodiversity. For this issue we would consider a wide range of topics and approaches related to biodiversity research – from taxonomy and systematics, through ecological studies to the assessment of broad-scale diversity patterns of the CCZ biota at all organizational levels (genes to ecosystem level).
Please send a letter of interest including a preliminary title by July 15th to Pedro Martinez,pmartinez@senckenberg.de, and myself, stefanie.kaiser@senckenberg.de.
The deadline for final submission will be February 1st 2016.
