The special IO50 Symposium ” Dynamics of the Indian Ocean : Perspective and Retrospective” (to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the International Indian Ocean Expedition and Golden Jubilee of the National Institute of Oceanography, India) is to be held from 30 November – 4 December, 2015 at Goa, India.
Abstract submission is open till 31st May 2015. Please visit www.IO50.incois.gov.in for details of session themes, abstract submission and other details.
We would also like to specially invite you to contribute articles to our upcoming July issue of The Indian Ocean Bubble-2 (tentative deadline for articles: 30th April 2015). In addition to research articles, reports of various events, cruises and conferences related to Indian Ocean studies are also welcome. This informal newsletter is focussed on boosting discussion on Indian Ocean research . Researchers at all levels are encouraged to contribute.
