It gives us great pleasure to announce that a student-mixer event will be hosted by the Deep-Sea Biology Society, on the evening of the 30th July, at the 7th Internatrional Deep-Sea Coral Symposium in Cartagena, Colombia. This event provides an informal opportunity for students to network, form collaborations, and gain insights on the range of positions and skills set required pertaining to the different marine science careers.
This year’s student-mixer event will take a career fair “speed-dating” approach, where students will be granted time to interact with experts from different sectors. We therefore encourage all students to attend, and we look forward to meeting you all.
