PhD in the impact of climate change on Arctic food webs: a molecular approach, SAHFOS (UK)

The successful PhD candidate will be registered at the University of Liverpool but some elements will be hosted by the Sir Alister Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science (SAHFOS). The central hypothesis of this PhD project is that environmental change has significantly altered the size structure and feeding habits of Arctic zooplankton over the past decade. This hypothesis will be tested by using time-series zooplankton samples from the northernmost route of the Continuous Plankton Recorder from Tromso to Svalbard.
Application deadline: 3 February 2017
