Deep Carbon Observatory Summer School 2016

Dear Colleagues,

 

The Deep Carbon Observatory (https://deepcarbon.net/) is hosting its Second DCO Summer School at Yellowstone National Park, 23 – 28 July 2016. This Summer School will bring together the next generation of researchers active in deep carbon studies from around the world. The Summer School is funded by the Deep Carbon Observatory, and aims to support financially as many participants as possible. There is no registration fee (accommodation and meals will be provided), and successful applicants will be eligible for up to 100% reimbursement of travel costs.

Applications are encouraged from Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows working on all aspect of carbon science (microbiology, microbial ecology, geomicrobiology, oceanography, geochemistry, mineralogy, geology, petrology, volcanology, etc; visit the DCO website for details on the science communities and scientific goals, https://deepcarbon.net//).
