SER’s 6th World Conference on Ecological Restoration – Abstracts due Feb 28th

[From the INDEEP mailing list]

Dear Colleagues,

Perhaps someone maybe interested in submitting an abstract on deep-sea restoration?

The Call for Abstracts for SER’s 6th World Conference on Ecological Restoration has been extended until February 28, 2015.
We invite all interested parties to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations addressing any topic related to ecological restoration science, practice or policy. We especially encourage presentations that directly relate to the conference theme, Towards Resilient Ecosystems: Restoring the Urban, the Rural and the Wild. Within the context of this theme, the conference will explore not only the scientific aspects of restoration, but also its economic and sociocultural dimensions, including art.

The four-day program agenda for SER2015 will be similar to past SER World Conferences and will include high-profile plenary speakers, workshops and symposia by some of the leading figures in the field, pre-conference training courses, field trips, and networking activities. Attendees will include natural and social scientists,  environmental engineers, urban and regional planners, program managers, policymakers, and community advocates from the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

If you would like to present your work, please submit your abstract no later than February 28th through the online submission form available at: http://www.ser2015.org/abstract-submission
